Why are you using less containers than recommended then? If you don’t like the food you’re eating then change it, and eat the full amount you’re allotted. Seems pretty silly not to for me!

Serve it with a side of plain Greek yogurt (2%) topped with 2 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut and ¼ cup toasted rolled oats (1 Green, 1 Red, 1 Yellow, 1 tsp.). Make sure this works with your containers, and adjust amounts accordingly. If you get a teaspoon in this meal, try some melted coconut oil on your squash. If you get a Purple, sprinkle your yogurt with a cup of berries. See how easy that can be?

Bethany Lyn January 20, 2015 - 12:02 pm Being on the 21 day fix I am finding that the portions are keeping me plenty full during the day (sometimes it’s hard to finish everything!) and I’m not craving junk food (and believe me, I have a major sweet tooth!!). I’m able to satisfy that sweet tooth with a piece of 70% cacao chocolate or one of the “clean” dessert recipes I’ve found, or even a piece of fruit, believe it or not.

Hi Jenny, Sounds like your metabolism is correcting itself. It is going to take some time to get used to the new eating schedule. I would try to stick with the program the best you can, but if you are getting sick then of course take a step back. Bethany

Drag: As I was chugging my Power Greens today my daughter's friend, who was standing right next to me, told me that it smelled like dirty fish tank water. I nearly gagged because she was absolutely right! I knew that smell was familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it and when she said that I was like, 'Omg that is exactly the smell!'. I do not eat meat, or at least I haven’t for the last 2 years. I don’t miss it at all and have no desire to start eating it again. I do follow a strict diet of very little dairy, no salt, I use Stevia for sugar, not much bread, only a few slices a week. I eat a lot of veggies, both raw and cooked in olive oil and seasonings. You would think with that kind of diet, I would be fit, but I am about 30 lbs overweight. I thought 21 day fix might work for me. My question, how do I adjust my food intake since I don’t eat meat? I do eat eggs everyday so that is some protein. Can I add more veggies or beans/lentils? I was eating oatmeal everyday but was advised to stop that to cut the carbs. If I keep going like this, there will not be much left to eat, lol. Any advice?

That being said, one drink per week won’t kill you – in fact, the Fix actually allows you a glass of wine, but you have to give up other foods for the day. You can do it, but don’t make it a habit.
