But then as the program progressed, I started really finding the hour workouts just not enjoyable due to the repetitiveness of the third rounds. I had very good results with 30-minute workouts, and especially 21 Day Fix, so to simply double a workout and call it Obsession started to seem a little annoying to me. I found her less coaching and motivating, and more joking around with the cast. For someone at home working out by themselves, watching someone just laugh and take their time while waiting for the next move just began to get obnoxious for me.

The beauty of this is that it is not a solid non-stop workout, but rather it asks you to go hard, rest…then go hard again. Good solid interval training concept that usually gets better results and also makes the workout attainable for beginners.

My #1 goal with this program was NOT weight loss. Which means I did not follow the weight loss meal plan. I chose the maintenance plan which I had NEVER done before. It actually freaked me out at first to eat that much food!!! Much to my surprise– it worked!! I am gaining muscle, my booty is lifting!! I feel stronger and leaner and I know I am fueling up with the right foods!! I love the timed nutrition and the workout blocks. It’s been really interested that tweaking my nutrition and changing up my workouts can produce such dramatic results. I can say that I was a believe in Autumn’s programs before and now I’m just absolutely head over heels about it!

I'm on day 16 and I feel stronger - I feel ...more capable day to day. I also feel "harder" - the muscles are waking up. I focused on running last year and felt like I lost flexibility and upper body strength. At my age and time constraints, I would rather have the muscle. On cardio day I add another half hour of cardio and on rest day I go for a run in order to get outside and to run, which I do enjoy. For the first time I can do side plank and work the top leg with much more strength and stability. See More
Hi Dawn, Great question! Think I will update the post with a few examples but for now a typical breakfast could be something like 2 whole eggs scrambled with spinach and a side of steel cut oatmeal. For lunch a giant salad with lots of veggies, a lean protein like chicken or turkey, and an olive oil based dressing. There is nothing crazy in the meal plan, just lots of whole foods in the proper amounts to get all your macronutrient needs while trying to limit overly processed foods(which we all should be trying to avoid). Yelp The fact is that a Greek Yogurt of 170 grams contains 17 grams of protein for only 0.7 grams of Total fat. So your logic makes total sense for me. Regular yogurt doesn’t contain so much protein but includes more fat.

13:06 I’m interested in doing the 21 DF but I have a question about the workouts. I workout 5 times a week for about 1 1/2 hr at the gym. I saw that you need a resistance band and weights for those of us who are more advanced. Is there any way I can get access to the DVDs to my phone so I can take them with me to my gym?

Free Workout Videos The 21 Day Fix is by far the best from Beachbody workouts when it comes to setting up a step-by-step system for you to follow. Is it enough to keep you on track? Probably not. In all honesty that’s the thing all Beachbody workouts really lack. Even this one. They focus on building a product which is a new, innovative and quite frankly a superior method of training than many others out there, while neglecting the main issues of staying dedicated. Are there results to be seen? Sure. Great results in fact.
