Veggies too… However, if it is too much extra carbs in order to supply the calories, then you should check another workout. Though it is far far more intense.. The first not so much of a difference in intensity.. the second is another game entirely.

I go to the gym 5 days a week and strength train. I’m having issues with my diet however. I teach water aerobics 3x a week and was wondering if it’d be okay to skip the DVD workout on those days ? My class consists of 20m of cardio -exercising running around the pool and 35-40 mins of strength training with water weights or resistance band or water elastic ? My class is a full body workout. Would this be okay ? I want to lose 10-15 lbs and feel if it weren’t for my water class … I’d weigh a lot more than I do.. I love sweets. I am 5’5 and weigh 153 and am 44 years old. I am definitely a large framed woman and don’t expect to be “skinny” …..Just fit and toned … Doable ? Thanks !

My Latest Recipes & Tips Question what about Smoothies ? “Before 21 Day Fix I had no energy and no motivation for life in general. I went to work, came home, and watched TV. I was tired of being tired and grouchy all the time and knew I had to change. Thankfully, some of my friends told me how much they loved the 21 Day Fix workouts and meal plan, and encouraged me to give it a shot. 21 Day Fix completely changed my body and my life more than I ever thought it would—I even have abs again! Not only do I now have energy, but I look and feel a million times better than before. I got to admit, the workouts are tough—even for an ex-college athlete. They had me doing things I’d never done before and I sweated my butt off for 30 minutes straight from the start! But Autumn is a great trainer and motivator and she helped me ignore that annoying voice in the back of my head that kept telling me to quit. One of my biggest struggles at first was with the smaller food portions, but I quickly learned how to space out my meals throughout each day and pretty soon I was never hungry. I now understand so much more about which foods are healthy and which are not. Plus, I absolutely love the portion control containers because they’re so easy to use; I use them every day to pack my lunch for work. Shakeology might be the best shake ever created. It’s delicious. Get familiar with the Beachbody Portion-Control Containers. If you did your Meal Plan calculation yesterday, then you know how many times you’ll fill each container every day. Now you can begin to plan the various meals you’ll eat around your Workout Block and throughout the day. I highly recommend keeping it simple, especially when you’re just getting started! Think single-ingredient foods, like broccoli, chicken, bananas, etc. Don’t try to go crazy planning elaborate recipes, because you might not get the right container equivalents. Then you won’t see results. As we get further into the program I’ll talk more about recipes.
