I really like having access to all of the beach body programs. I did 21 day fix and lost 14 lbs. I did it twice to loose all that weight. 8 the first round and 6 the next. You have to do the eating program with it which you can find everything you ever wanted to know about 21 day fix on pinterest. Some people like shakeology but it is super expensive and I found a low carb protein bar that was cheaper and taste great. They are the quest brand and I usually get them from Amazon. You can also sign up to get a beach body coach but the only thing I would keep in mind is that they make money off selling you beach body products. I lost all of my weight and did not spend 160 a month on protein shakes. That’s a pair of coach shoes people. I did feel a little pressured because I did not want to buy the shakes. Overall it has changed the way I eat and I feel better and feel way more confident. I love that instead of buying another 70 program that I may not like I can try one out before I go onto my next challenge. I hope this helps anyone who was thinking about trying it out. BTW I am 41 and was still able to pull of a decent amount of weight in 2 months.

Day 6: I have weights today! I made it to the store yesterday, which was part of the errands I ran yesterday, so I am doing the 2nd day workout that I skipped. Overall, hard! Arms are so difficult for me, so that was great. I found the workouts super good for the whole body, and you work your upper and lower body at the same time on almost all the moves. Shaun does a good job of keeping your heart rate up, which is what I look for in a workout, even on this weight-focused one.

But I’m not toned at this point and that’s what I would like to see change. I’m pretty petite and with clothes on no one would think I would need to get in shape. But I’ve had 5 kids and my body really isn’t toned like I said(I can hide it well with clothes). My other reason for thinking about this program is that I am getting older and want to be truly healthy, not just fit, if that makes sense. I struggled with high blood pressure with my last pregnancy, and my family has high blood pressure issues, so I want to nix that before it starts.

There are two approaches you can take when embarking on the 21 Day Fix, and the path you choose will depend on how much weight you have to lose. If you have a substantial amount of weight to lose, you can easily lose 15 pounds in 21 days as promised by the program. As long as you follow the exercise plan and eat only what you can fit into the containers, your weight will come off. The longer you remain on the program, the more weight you will lose. You can have one cheat meal per week as stated in the nutrition plan, but it is important not to over indulge.
