Even with the low intensity modifications I still get really winded because I have asthma and am just out of shape in general. Would it be possible for me to just walk for a little while instead of the dvds until I can lose some weight and get my asthma under control again? I never had issues working out with my asthma until after I had my kids and gained weight so I know the weight is what’s holding me back. Would it compromise the program if I just walked for 45 minutes to an hour everyday? I plan to do multiple round of the program and make it my lifestyle and eventually I’ll be able to do the regular workouts with no problem but for now I just can’t. I did get the ok from my doctor to do the program but she advised me to see if there was a less intense option available such as walking or swimming if the workouts were too much.
