Hello! I am going to be going on vacation soon, and I figured I would do the 3 day quick fix + the remaining week do the program. When I return from vacation I will begin the 21 day fix, but I have some questions. I weigh the same as I did last year, but I have lost muscle and I don’t like it and I lost motivation to workout but I’m hoping this program gets me back into the swing of things because I LOVE the workouts! I am just wondering will the 21 day fix help me tone up and lose weight ALL over ( tone my legs, butt, hips, arms, abs, everywhere!!) I really just need to loose inches! Thank you!

Barbara July 20, 2014 - 9:00 am Being a 41 year old female and 269 lbs at 5’5, its concerning when I see mainly younger and thinner people doing well on this program. While I am contemplating the 21 day program, I am fresh out of a boot from an old Achilles injury that is not quite done healing. My doctor wants me using a bike for exercise instead of any high impact programs. He is stressing that I need to loose at least 75 lbs, but would prefer if I loos 100 lbs, which would also lessen the stress on my ankles. I am terrible at portion control and have a diet of high sugar and high fat that I need to get under control, much like a 14 year old boy.

Get Your Copy of Days to Fitness Recipe Book FTD I went through the entire 21 day fix and would recommend it to anyone regardless of their current fitness level. Before the 21 day fix I was in above average condition working out 5 – 6 days a week.
Over the course of 80 days my final results were losing 13 inches all over my body, wearing pant/dress sizes smaller, do full-out pushups, and a huge amount of growth in my ability to lift heavy weights. In fact, by the end of the program, I really should have been lifting heavier…I just didn’t have the heavier weights available to do so. Pretty good problem to have! However, one of my biggest wins was the fact that I really did stick hard and fast to something for 80 days. I have friends who can tell you I didn’t want to, but I did it and that has taught me so much about the power of willpower! Non-scale victories are the best!

My weight is always fluctuating from 125-150 and I can’t seem to get a routine going to stay down at 125. I am looking to lose about 15 pounds at this time but I’m at a loss on how to do so, seems like I’ve tried it all! I always gain weight when I work out because my body/thyroid is “over worked”. I like the idea that it’s only a half hour workout, which makes me think I could do it. I don’t know if you know anything about thyroid issues or not but if you do and have advice I would love to hear your feedback.

Hi Terri, You should be able to most if not all of the exercises. If you find moves that cause you pain, switch it up to something else or walk it out. I don’t know what is causing your knee pain, but if your physician recommended it I would assume they think you would be okay.
Hi Kerrie, There is no maintenance protocol per say, but it does tell you haw to calculate the level needed to maintain. Yes, you can follow the diet as a vegetarian no problem, you would count lentils and beans as reds instead of yellow is the only adjustment. Bethany

Just a quick comment about the name “21 Day Fix”… it’s not meant to “fix” you in 21 days. It’s meant to “fix” your eating habits/portion control in 21 days. They say it takes 21 days to create a habit. So, the idea behind the 21 days “fix” is that’s how long it takes to adjust and “fix” for healthy eating habits. 🙂

Day 15: Total Body Cardio Fix Hi Amanda, it is really hard for me to answer if you will be bored with the program. If you consider yourself a beginner to intermediate I think you will enjoy it.
