Many Instant Pot recipes call for water or broth in the pot, and I have to tell you that chicken broth is a much better choice for dishes with meat in them–like the lunch or dinner recipes below. I have a recipe here for how to make bone broth and it’s so easy.

Hi Debbie, All you would need to do is make your recipe like normal, but once you measure the ingredients, add them to the container and then prepare. Just be sure to note how much of each container you use. There is nothing against using halves or quarter containers. I eat fairly well and workout daily, so finding the ti...me wasn't an issue for me. I love that all of the workouts are different (same moves within a phase but different counts, etc.) I'd forgotten how much I've missed weight training! I have not followed the eating plan for the first two phases, but am still making NOTICEABLE gains. My boyfriend is considering doing the program after noticing how quickly my body is changing. I'm moving to phase III tomorrow and just started following the nutrition plan, which should make my results even more noticeable. Booty gains are A+. Follow her cues and lift heavy/go hard during every workout - don't dog it - and you'll get results. Those saying it's too easy are wrong. You can make any workout more challenging - this one by lifting HEAVY and maxing out at the end of your reps. If it's not that hard, you're not doing enough and of course you're not going to get results. See More
You do not need to buy the program, as most of the information you need is available around the web. HOWEVER. I totally recommend buying it. The kit comes with containers, workout DVDs, a shake container, and all the information you need to be succesful. I used to constantly refer to my 21 Day Fix book!

Week 5 (Start of Phase 2) Upper Body Fix: Hi Kathryn, The 21 Day Fix is sounds like an excellent program for. While you do a lot of walking the workouts will be a totally different kind of exercise for your body. But, what I really love of about the Fix is the diet. It teaches healthy eating habits that you can use for a lifetime not just for when you are following the program’s workouts. Bethany
Each week of 80 Day Obsession we go through these 6 workouts and in each phase these 6 workouts totally change. I also keep your body working and off the fitness plateau by changing up your reps and sets each week. Week 1 of every phase we do a 2×15 rep scheme. Meaning we go through all the moves in the workout doing 15 reps of each then circle back to the top and do it again. This is done with medium weights. Week 2 I change it up to a 3×10 rep scheme. Were lifting heavier this week. Going through all the moves in the workout 3 times. Week 3 I keep the 3×10 rep scheme and the heavy weights but instead of going through the entire workout and circling back to the top we perform 10 reps of three exercises three times in a row before moving on. This way we are burning the muscle group out faster and pushing our bodies harder. In week 4 we go back to the 2×15 pattern but again do 15 reps of three moves two times and then move on to the next group. All of this keeps our bodies working hard through out the entire 80 days so we can continue to see progress.

I’m in the same position as Earlene, I’m 60lbs overweight, 58 yrs old, I’ve had hip replacement and I have a bad back. I was just going to order the 21 day fix when I saw Brittany say the workouts may to intense but I didn’t see a response to Earlene’s question on what Brittany suggests instead of those workouts. Thanks you for your help! This is a first of its kind program that was recorded by Autumn Calabrese and the cast in a unique way. The program has 80 unique workouts for you to do. This means no two workouts will ever be the same. What is even more unique is the cast is experiencing a transformation right along with you because they recorded the program 80 days in a row as well. They are also following the meal plan to a T and sharing their experiences as they progress from week to week.
