I've been coming to ABB for 2 1/2 years and I am incredibly grateful to have found this gym. The strong sense of community and support is what sets ABB apart from other gyms. I've struggled with my weight for a long time and being apart of an inclusive environment that has room for every body type and work out style has been incredibly beneficial. Summer provides members with challenges to keep up morale, switches up the classes for variety and goes above and beyond to help all of her clients. She teaches us about nutrition, helpful apps for fitness tracking as well as food journaling all in addition to customized meal planning. It is very clear that Summer cares about all of her clients and their progress. This is the reason why I can't get enough of Alameda Beach Body!
I feel ya! It’s definitely on the lower end because the plan is geared eating at a calorie deficient to lose fat. The plan doesn’t recommend staying at this calorie deficient — once you reach your goal you should increase your calorie level. They give you formulas for weight maintenance calorie levels. I just looked them up and they seem pretty accurate/reasonable to me.
Also it allows Premium Club members to stream DVD programs they have purchased from Beachbody.

Hi Kim, In my opinion coconut sugar is not a good alternative to table sugar, it is very similar. It contains about the same amount of fructose gram for gram. Nuts and seeds should be unsalted, avoid salt whenever possible. Frozen vegetables are fine. Bethany

I see a lot of people wanting to stick with WW and perhaps believe the fix plan to be more difficult than WW. My opinion is that with this system you’re not only training portions but it’s A diet of whole foods and not the processed CRAP that WW allows. You’ll be healthier in the end.
