On this detox, Beachbody suggests to refrain from all caffeinated drinks and products. Caffeine is a stimulant and part of the detox is to reset your body and restore your own natural energy levels. In addition, coffee is extremely acidic (as is tea) and this acidity will counteract and cancel out the work that the detox is doing to balance your pH levels (acid/alkaline levels). They suggest that you do a 'coffee fade' for 1-2 weeks before you start the detox, where you would drink less and less each day and wean yourself off. I didn't do this, mainly because I'm a dumbass. Also because I'm addicted to coffee and I didn't want to give it up or even drink less until I absolutely had to. WRONG MOVE. I would highly recommend weaning yourself off of coffee and not doing what I did.
January 20, 2018 I definitely wanted to crawl in bed for the first time in a couple days for a good rest. But here I am – throwing my excuses to the side & just getting it done.
I am considering trying the 21 Day Fix but I’m not sure it is right for me and my goals. I want to be healthier overall and feel better (and I think the program would easily help me do that), I also have other goals. I’m a 6’4″ and 195 lb guy. Too most people I look pretty skinny. But I am quite dissatisfied with my physique, as I look ‘skinny-fat’…skinny pretty much everywhere except my stomach. I would actually like to be about 205 lbs — flatten my stomach while building muscle in my arms, legs, shoulders, back and chest. I know I cannot achieve this in just 3 weeks, but if I continue long-term with the program, would it provide enough protein, calories and intensity in workouts to achieve these kinds of goals? If not, any recommendations on another program that would be better for me?

Hello Bethany I’ve still got plenty of improvements to make … but I’m getting there!! Don’t get me wrong, I got those types of messages, too, but they were in the minority. As one self-proclaimed “gym rat” tells me, “Aesthetics have always been interesting to me. I love a fit woman. Big old chubbers do nothing for me. … Now that’s not to say some soft curves on a girl with gigantic sweater puppies is off the table.”
Lastly, I take you into a workout program to combine with a meal plan to help you lose the baby weight, not your milk!! !

My answer would be another round of 80 Day Obsession — I’m on round 3 and the workouts have been challenging each time, and I’m still seeing major progress in my body! But any program will help you continue and maintain your progress, find one that YOU love and keep going!

My wife earned the success club trip to Mexico this year and was hurt today while in the water. Beach body brought ems... staff for the trip that attended to her, transported us to the hospital, waited with us and brought us back to the resort. Extras Hi Liz, I first want to congratulate you on deciding to make a change…that’s honestly one of the toughest decisions to make, but you’ve got the right attitude about bettering your health. As for the 21 Day Fix, I know exactly what you mean by the infomercial, but the truth is, it is a REALLY great program if you’re just starting out, regardless of your current weight or how much you have to lose. If you had been on another program review, I would’ve suggested this workout for you to start your weight loss journey with.

I eat pretty much the same foods on a daily basis and I think my food budget is well below ten dollars a day. You could probably cut it below $5 per person at the lowest calorie level by buying in bulk and low cost foods.
