Some people chose not to eat for a period of time to get the last bit off. Other people dehydrated themselves to get past their goal. And you know what... I don't blame them at all. I'm not judging them because I know that I would have done the same thing had I been in that position. When you've been working so hard for four weeks, the thought of missing your goal by a fraction of a pound is devastating. I believe this to be a better opportunity for someone who has more weight to lose — lets say more than 25 lbs. Where the scale may (but as you pointed out, not always) make a difference for them.
