It’s a complex problem. I am 68 years old, and discovered free weight training in my fifties. In two years, I added thirty pounds of muscle (my body fat went from 25 to 12 percent). I am now around eighteen percent, work out 1-2 hours per day using free weights, cycling, step aerobics (I am a group exercise instructor as well).
